Angela Folkers is a Director of Mortgage Banking for FHA/HUD out of the Jupiter, FL office. With 16 years’ FHA underwriting experience, Angela brings a unique background to loan originations, offering her expertise throughout the entire FHA loan process from engagement to closing. She specializes in both market rate and affordable transactions. Angela has developed and maintains strong relationships with HUD offices across the country.
Prior to joining Berkadia, she served as the Chief Underwriter at Love Funding for nearly six years overseeing both multifamily and healthcare underwriting. Angela’s vast knowledge of HUD’s standards, rules and regulations have assisted clients in closing over $1 billion in loan volume. She serves on two industry boards as the Vice President of the Healthcare Mortgagee Advisory Council and Secretary of the Southeastern Mortgagee Advisory Council.
