Ben Burkett serves as an Associate Director specializing in the origination of FHA/HUD-insured multifamily transactions out of the Dallas, TX office. He works with first time and returning borrowers on FHA/HUD-insured ground up new construction, acquisition, and refinance projects across the nation. Ben prides himself on his client-focused advisory approach, which allows him to utilize Berkadia’s strong institutional debt and banking relationships, integrated investment sales platform, and proprietary data and technology system to quickly and accurately identify the most appropriate execution for each of his client’s individual assets.
Ben attended The University of Southern Mississippi where he earned two Bachelor of Business degrees in three major areas of study: Real Estate Finance, Banking and Finance, and Business Entrepreneurship.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys being actively involved in his community. He is proud to represent several non-profit and professional organizations including his ongoing multi-year position on the Young Professional Board of Directors for the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. During his term at RMHD, he has spearheaded and participated in multiple capital campaigns, successfully raising over $100,000 in monetary donations for the organization.
