Mr. Schutjer is Co-Head of Mortgage Banking and Production Operations overseeing and supporting the mortgage banking platform of over 150 experienced mortgage bankers across 40 offices nationwide, with a focus on strategy and operations. In 2021, Berkadia Mortgage Banking originated over 2,090 loans and a record-breaking $40 billion in volume, an increase of 48% over 2020.
Previously, Mr. Schutjer worked at McKinsey and Company where he advised clients on best-in-class sales strategy, transformation and operations. Mr. Schutjer has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
