George Spadier is a Managing Director in Berkadia’s El Segundo office. He is responsible for the origination and placement of debt and structured finance transactions for all major property types throughout the country.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Mr. Spadier spent 6 years with Sunrise Mortgage & Investment Co. where he was a top producer, arranging debt nationwide. Preceding Sunrise, he was a Senior Portfolio Analyst at PennyMac, providing pricing and analysis for the acquisition, disposition, and management of a $4 billion non-performing loan portfolio.
Mr. Spadier is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Investor Council and Origination Council.
Mr. Spadier believes that building lasting relationships not only helps produce the best results, in business and in life, but also provides the most meaning to both. He is a Los Angeles native and enjoys travel, hiking, sports, and spending time with his wife and two sons.
