Lowell Takahashi joined Berkadia in 2019 as a member of the Mortgage Banking team. Over the last two decades Lowell has extensive experience structuring, underwriting, and closing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lending products. He has structured in excess of $10 billion in transactions during his career.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Lowell led transaction structuring with Capital One in Newport Beach. Prior to this position, Lowell led Fannie Mae’s Western Region Credit Team where he was responsible for structuring transactions, managing relations with the DUS lender network, and fostering borrower relationships. Lowell began his career at Berkeley Point Capital where he spent 12 years serving in various credit related roles within the organization.
