Nathan Stone is a Managing Director in the Mortgage Banking division of Berkadia with responsibilities in loan origination and equity placement. Nathan joined Berkadia in November of 2017 with approximately $2.5 billion in commercial real estate transaction experience throughout his 14-year career in development and mortgage banking. He specializes in multifamily, hospitality and senior living properties and has extensive experience in arranging and structuring joint venture opportunities as well as originating construction, bridge and permanent debt for commercial real estate throughout the United States.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Nathan was a Senior Director for NorthMarq Capital, where he was a perennial top producer nationally. Before that, he worked for Dallas based real estate development company Seneca Investments.
Nathan is a native Dallasite and earned his bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin. He is active in the Mortgage Bankers Association, National Multi-Housing Council, a member of The Real Estate Council (TREC) and a graduate of TREC’s Associate Leadership Council, a 10-month leadership development program with a focus on community service. Nathan resides in Dallas with his wife Anne and their two children.
