PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

• This position is responsible for working in Investor Reporting team to ensure all reporting, data transmission and remittance requirements are met for each Portfolio & Commercial Mortgage-Backed Security (CMBS) pools. 

Major Accountabilities (duties may include but are not limited to)

• Work on the Sub, Key, Master Servicing and NON CMBS pools to ensure the timely transmission of reports and remittances to Master Servicers, Special servicers, Trustees, and Investors.
• Verification of data held on the investor reports to our systems. Ensure that the calculations on the various reports correctly reflect loan documentation and agreements.
• Investigate and follow up on any exception reports / investor queries received within 24 hours.
• Ensure that all the received funds for a pool are accounted for and accurate amounts are released to Master Servicers, Special servicers, Trustees, and Investors.
• Work with Supervisors to maintain and update calendar for monthly reporting.
• Meet all productivity goals, quality requirements and deadlines.
• Review Pooling and Servicing Agreement’s (PSA), Sub-Servicing Agreements (SSA) and other Loan Documents and document CMBS Deal Procedures/Summaries.
• Generate reports from RUDI and various other servicing systems.  Research and share results and provide findings to specified parties.
• Complete designated training and educational programs as required.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Members joining the group would follow US holiday calendar.

TITLE OF NEXT LEVEL OF SUPERVISION: Manager

PRIMARY CUSTOMERS OF THIS POSITION AND TYPE OF CONTACT

• IR Staff / Supervisors in US, Sub/Special Servicers, Master Servicers & Trustees.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED (including education, experience, and skills)

• Minimum of Graduate in Commerce with at least 1 year experience in Berkadia. Prior experience in the finance/accounting sector is preferable.
• Must have strong accounting basics with a mathematical aptitude.
• Must be proficient in English, in both verbal and written communications.
• Must be analytical with ability to research and resolve problems.
• Strong background in spreadsheet analysis (Excel) and word processing (Word).
• Must be able to think outside the box in researching problems and responding to customers.
• Must be able to read and comprehend loan documents and deal agreements.
• A detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills.

ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS

• Exhibits an appropriate sense of urgency in managing responsibilities.
• Exhibits solid time management skills and works to meet or exceed all deadlines.
• Displays ability to follow up on outstanding issues with little to no supervision.
• Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

• Demonstrates flexibility in dealing with changing circumstances and requirements.

CONDITIONS OF WORK

• The job holder will be expected to work in Day Shift and any additional hours that are necessary to perform the function and to meet business objectives.   
• International travel may be required.
