In 2009, Al along with partners formed Tavernier Capital Funding (TCF), a nationwide HUD-approved MAP and LEAN multifamily mortgage lender. Al served as President of TCF. In September 2011, Tavernier Capital Partners was acquired by Berkadia. Since joining Berkadia, Al has been a senior production manager and member of the Production Leadership Team. Mr. Moczul has a B.S. in Finance from Michigan State University and is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Urban Land Institute. Throughout his career, he has served numerous advisory councils within the commercial mortgage industry.
