Lloyd Griffin is a Managing Director of Affordable Housing at Berkadia based in Austin, TX. Lloyd has been involved in affordable housing since 1996. Throughout his career, he has closed more that $2.5 billion in affordable housing debt and equity transactions.
Lloyd has 18+ years of experience within the industry and served as regional director for Citigroup Municipal Securities Division and Citi Community Capital where he originated and closed over $800 million in construction and permanent loans, tax exempt bonds, credit enhancements, private placements, low-income housing tax credit equity placements and other CRA qualifying loans and investments. Prior to that, he spent five years as Vice President of the Affordable Housing Group at GMAC Commercial Mortgage where he managed the origination, application underwriting approval and closing process on more than $700 million in affordable housing debt transactions.
