Scott Holland is a Senior Managing Director in the Mortgage Banking division of Berkadia with Debt and Equity expertise across all commercial real estate assets types. In addition to leading his team of Mortgage Bankers in the Phoenix office, Scott is responsible for nurturing relationships between capital providers and real estate investors nationwide. He brings a unique and valuable perspective to his real estate finance practice with experience as both a Direct Lender and a Commercial Mortgage Banker.
With direct lending experience in the formative years of his career, Scott has focused his real estate finance practice over the last 31 years as a Commercial Mortgage Banker arranging debt and equity for his clients via his representation of Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, HUD, numerous Life Insurance Companies and Pension Funds and other various financial institutions.
Scott joined Berkadia in 2014 when it acquired his previous company Keystone Commercial Capital. In addition to being a founding principal and managing partner at Keystone, Scott was responsible for originating debt for his Life Insurance Company correspondent lenders and servicing the $2B loan portfolio Keystone managed on their behalf.
Scott is a native of Phoenix and earned a bachelors in Finance from Arizona State University in 1991. He is a member of, and has participated in board positions of numerous industry organizations throughout his career. He is a founding member of Sun Devil Family Charities, and a board member of The Sol Devils, both of which provide fund raising efforts for ASU Sun Devils and alumni.
