Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial workbooks and other supporting documentation to reflect current budgets, proformas, and third-party report findings. Determine financial feasibility, develop financial conclusions and recommendations.

Coordinate weekly deal administration, including checklist and agenda preparation, and facilitate communication among team members and vendors.

Oversee due diligence by reviewing and approving borrower and organizational documents and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items.

Manage third-party report engagements, including vendor coordination, site inspection scheduling, and compliance tracking.

Critically review and provide comments on all third-party reports, ensuring documentation is complete, and reports are timely finalized.

Review mortgage credit analysis, identify and resolve mortgage credit issues, finalize recommendations.

Finalize narrative, financial workbooks and HUD forms for loan committee review. Complete quality control review prior to final application submission.

Prepare responses to application review comments, tracking changes, preparing amendments and communicating updates to the deal team.

Analyze multifamily or healthcare transactions to identify credit or other issues, evaluate the risks, and develop recommendations to address or mitigate the risks.

Perform the duties of an Underwriter Trainee and, when appropriate, co-sign the narrative and PLA with the MAP/Lean Underwriter.

Provide additional support and review, as needed, to ensure compliance with HUD and internal requirements.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain a smooth underwriting process.
