Troy Buckley is a Director with Berkadia’s Cleveland Office. Mr. Buckley is responsible for originating FHA business throughout the country.
Prior to coming to Berkadia, Mr. Buckley originated loans for PGIM Real Estate. During that time, he was involved in the origination of over $450 million in FHA Debt. Mr. Buckley started his FHA career working on transactions as an Underwriter for Love Funding Corporation. While at Love Funding, he received both his MAP and LEAN certifications and closed over $300 million in FHA transactions using all HUD MAP and LEAN loan programs. Prior to joining Love Funding, Mr. Buckley worked in the long-term care industry as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Ohio for 10 years. In this capacity, he was responsible for all departments and operations for a 63-bed skilled nursing facility, 62-bed assisted living facility, and 50-bed independent living facility in Ohio. Mr. Buckley has experience with Seniors Housing, Market Rate Multifamily Housing, and Affordable Multifamily Housing including transactions involving LIHTCs, Public Housing RAD conversions, New Construction and Substantial Rehabilitation.
